  • NOTES: Chateau la Bourree from Castillon Cotes de Bordeaux is made by renowned winemaker Francois Meynard. Côtes de Castillon is located on the eastern border of Saint Emilion. The appellation takes its name from the town of Castillon La Bataille where in 1453 a battle took place that ended the 100 year war with England. Experience plenty of ripe red and blueberry fruit mixed with cedar notes; rich flavors of red cherry and red currant with a smooth finish from the oak; and a lingering long finish. Pairs perfectly with beef, roasted game, and cassoule--along with a myriad of hard or soft cheeses.
