  • Altos “Los Romeros” Carmenere

  • Alto Los Romeros is named after the meadows of wild rosemary that grow on the peaks of the estate’s hills in Chile.  This carmenere is unique and full of character.  (Carmenere is a traditional Bordeaux grape variety that was once thought lost until rediscovered in Chile).  It has a deep, intense ruby red color, with aromas of plum and cherry, and subtle notes of mocha, chocolate, and spices.  The finish is smooth, rich, and elegant, with soft, round tannins.  Excellent with pizza, empanadas, white meats or steak!
