  • Pinot Noir (or Pinot Nero as it’s called in Italy) is one of the world’s great grapes.  It thrives in cool climates with a bit of elevation; and at 2,300 feet, the Cembra winery in the Trentino mountains in Italy, suit that situation perfectly!  Aged in all stainless steel (no oak), this wine has depth with plum and expressive notes of earth.  The palate has size but is not overpowering, proving it would pair well with a duck ragu, mushroom ravioli, or a cheese and charcuterie board!
