If you are one of those people who think that you don’t like Chardonnay, we dare you to dislike this wine. Not at all like the heavy buttery oak-bomb style of Chardonnay that might have turned you off in the past – this is soft, elegant, subtle, and seductive. What else can we say, the Chateau du Chatelard is just plain delicious! The aromas are lush with ripe apple, baked pear, and honeycomb, followed by flavors of mineral, honeydew, and fresh herbs. Just heavenly with clams with lemon and parsley, scallops with butter and chives, grilled salmon, and chicken salad sandwiches.
