Alain Voge Cotes du Rhone "Les Peyrouses" BIODYNAMIC/VEGAN

Here’s a FIND!  Alain Voge is an important producer from the great northern Rhône known for his incredible (and expensive!) wines.  With this cuvée, he has taken the fruit of his very young (under 10-year-old) Syrah vines in Cornas and declassified them by bottling the wine simply as Cotes du Rhone.  This all-estate, all-Syrah wine is deep and delicious and draws you into the glass.  Rustic and red with a bit of oak, it’s fresh yet contains notes of jerky and bacon that we love in Northern Rhône Syrah.  Have it with chili, steak, or a cold winter’s night!
