Naming the wine in honor of his grandmother, Michael Pozzan sources grapes from growers around the valley to produce this elegant example from the famed valley. The Annabella opens with extroverted aromas of red cherry, violets, blueberries, and black fig. The mouth is rich and broadly textured, with layered flavors of blackberries, espresso, and toasted oak. With 18 months spent aging in oak, it features a finish layered with cinnamon and vanilla. Enjoy with pan seared lamb chops or a hearty mushroom risotto!
