Bojo do Luar Drasloup ORGANIC/NATURAL

The area of Vinho Verde in northern Portugal is mainly known for its crisp, light white wines. But it is also a region where innovation meets nontraditional winemaking! Here we have an example, made from 100% Alvarelhão—a red grape native to the region—that is fermented with ground chestnut flowers in clay amphorae to give the wine beautiful floral characteristics. The palate delivers vibrant red fruit and earthy complexity in every sip. Enjoy it with a slight chill alongside fresh seafood, fried chicken, or pepperoni pizza!
