A red-wine grape variety indigenous to northeastern Spain, Trepat is very adept at making fresh, berry-flavored sparkling wines…especially Cava rosé! This example comes from one of our favorite producers: Casteller. This sparkling wine is produced from all estate fruit and features aromas of juicy red fruit. The palate is clean, bright and dry, a textbook example of the traditional Cava profile. Try pairing this sparkler with any tapas, fresh fruit or any soft and creamy cheese!
