Castelo do Papa Godello ORGANIC/VEGAN

Godello is a fine white grape native to northwest Spain.  It’s found primarily in Valdeorras—the easternmost wine region in Galicia, which is protected from the wild Atlantic winds by mountain ranges.  This well-structured, dry wine has a lot of tension in it.  Its nose is soft and light, with elegance and fruit, and has a palate that is light and easy with good dryness and a mouthwatering minerality.  It’s great with heartier seafood (scallops, crab, halibut) but also with vegetables and lighter chicken dishes.
