Three brothers founded their winery in 1920, naming it after São João, the patron saint in the region of Bairrada. A hundred years later, the winery is producing wines true to the region’s terroir and with native varietals. This wine is made from 100% Baga grapes, harvested at optimal ripeness to create a bright, low-alcohol wine. The winemaking approach is minimalist with a short maceration period and stainless steel fermentation, resulting in a wine that is vibrant with red fruit, dried rose petals and hints of spice. Enjoy this alongside an assortment of tapas or simply on its own!
