The “Cru Artisan” classification is a new one for our store, albeit it has over 150 years of usage. When you see this, you can be sure the wine is from autonomous, small-sized estates where the manager is actively involved in the operations and produces AOC wines bottled at the château. This Left Bank legend has a fruity yet brambly nose with rustic earth and minerality. With 12 months spent on oak, it is full on the palate with dark plums, strong tannins, and a yummy flavor.
