Brothers Gunther and Klaus Di Giovanna made the first bottling of Vurria Rosato in 2004 in the family cellar. They have continued to leave their mark on the island, crafting beautiful wines for 20 years now! This rosé expresses a floral bouquet on the nose, complemented by pomegranate and aromatic herbs. The palate is fresh and features a persistent mineral finish. The wine takes its name from a Sicilian poem, Vurria, meaning “to wish for”. Perhaps try wishing for a beautiful grilled salmon with roasted potatoes to pair with this!
