5 de Mayo - 10%OFF all Tequilas and Mezcals
Chateauneuf-du-Pape is the star of the Southern Rhone. Indeed, it was the very first appellation in France to receive “AC” status. Of the 13 permissible varieties in the blend, Grenache is often dominant, as it is here with this representation. A halo of herbs hovers above fresh fruit while an expressive earth note narrows its focus. With no oak, (CNDPs are typically fermented in concrete vats) the palate is rich with tobacco and licorice, tenacious tannins, and a genuinely juicy flavor. A classic with Beef Bourguignon or any hearty steak!
