Domaine des Moirots Givry Rouge

Domaine des Moirots is a family property that produces wine on about 30 acres of vineyards in the southern portion of the Cote Chalonnaise. Christophe Denizot, the current winemaker, handles the operation and produces a collection of wines from his carefully tended vineyards using time-tested traditional methods. Their Givry Rouge shows elegant aromas of red fruit, violets and slight vanilla. The palate is meaty with excellent depth and supple tannins from aging 10 months in new oak. Try pairing with roasted chicken or a fine Burgundian cheese like camembert or brie!
