Located just west of the world-famous growing region of Sancerre, lies the not as well known (but still pretty dang great!) region of Quincy (pronounced “can-see”). Since it sits in the shadow of its big brother sancerre, it shares extremely similar limestone rich soil that is perfect for growing sauvignon blanc. This example here is aromatic with notes of pink grapefruit and honey suckle. The palate is completely dry with fine minerality. It’s a perfect pair with goat cheese, oysters or grilled branzino in lemon caper sauce!
