This rye-forward whiskey is aged 16 months in small, charred oak barrels and finished in Cognac casks, giving it both structure and softness. Made with an 80% rye mash bill, it opens with aromas of brown sugar, cinnamon, vanilla bean, roasted almonds, and fresh-sawn oak. The palate shows butter, smoked ham, and balsam wood, finishing with hints of soft-baked pretzels and star anise. Lightly filtered, non–chill filtered, and crafted grain-to-glass in Northwestern Minnesota.
