The largest of Germany’s thirteen wine regions, the Rheinhessen stretches along the left bank of the Rhine river. Riesling is the predominant grape here, and Georg Gustav Huff makes a lovely example in a completely dry style. Fresh with lemon and a beautiful bouquet of flowers, this is just the sort of regal riesling nose that makes the varietal unique. Gorgeous on the palate with lovely acidity and fabulous flavor, pair this wine with cured meat, grilled pork loins or a spicy thai dish.
