Georg Steinmetz Riesling Trocken ORGANIC

Riesling is quite possibly one of the most under-valued and misunderstood grapes.  One of the most distinguished of the noble grape varieties, its ancestral home (and archetypal expression) is in Germany.  The best wines from the Rheinhessen are Riesling, and this example from Georg Steinmetz shows us why that is!  Light and lovely with a beautiful bouquet of florals and crisp, ripe fruit notes of apricot and peach, this wine is completely dry and totally delicious!  Try it with mild Indian or Asian curries or sushi!
