Garnacha is the third most widely planted grape in all of Spain, so there are quite a few to choose from when you’re on a Spanish wine hunt! Here we have the beautiful Buscando from famed winemaker Gil Berzal. Made from old-vine Garnacha, this wine is aged in concrete vats and expresses beautiful aromas of blueberry, blackberry, and cherry. The palate is lush yet lifted, with velvety tannins and fresh, balancing acidity. Try pairing this with fatty fish like salmon or with grilled pork chops or pork tenderloin.
