Walter Glatzer farms over 50 hectares in the ancient region of Carnuntum, where Celts, Romans, and later monastic settlements tended vines for over 2,000 years. Red wines play the leading role at Weingut Glatzer. After maceration and fermentation in stainless steel, Walter ages the wines in large 2,000-liter oak casks. This Blaufränkisch offers aromas of fresh pepper, wildflowers, and brambly berries. The palate is medium-bodied with grippy tannins and a good dose of acidity. Pairs perfectly with grilled bratwurst or schnitzel!
