Jean-Marc Gilet ‘Les Calcaires’ Vouvray Sec SUSTAINABLE

While it’s one of the most famous communes in the Loire, Vouvray can be very vexing, as it can come in so many different styles: bubbly, dry, sweet—you name it! This bottling is “Sec,” or, in other words, completely dry.  Delicious with notes of apple and honey, the palate is flavorful and luxurious, with elegant notes of honeysuckle and lemon.  Great with lighter fare like salads and vegetables, it also pairs wonderfully with fatty fish like salmon and tuna. Can we get a hooray for Vouvray?!
