The land that Ken Forrester produces his wines on has been producing fine grapes dating all the way back to 1689! In 1993, after centuries of disrepair, the Forrester family restored the 17th century homestead, replanted the vines, and began developing wines of quality. Their chenin blanc is golden hued and full bodied, with melon and spicy baked apple aromas. The palate is layered with minerality and notes of honeycomb and caramel. Delicious with lobster or shrimp dishes as well as a variety of soft cheeses!
