Le Casematte Peloro Rosso ORGANIC

Among the most exciting regions in Italian wine today is the island of Sicily.  Home to an active volcano, the black lava soil and steep slopes are excellent for all sorts of grapes. Located in Faro, the easternmost region of Sicily, Le Casematte has been making traditionally delicious wines since 2008. Their Peloro Rosso is a brilliant ruby red with aromas of red berries and floral fragrances. The palate shows fresh acidity, rich fruit, and vibrant tannins. This wine is sensational with lamb or a grilled steak with mushrooms!
