OKA Vodka is produced by the Tsutsumi Distillery in Kumamoto Prefecture, Kyushu, Japan. It's pot-distilled from 100% rice, fermented for 7–10 days using sake brewer’s yeast, and distilled five times in a copper-lined, stainless steel pot still. The vodka undergoes charcoal filtration using binchō-tan, an artisanal Japanese charcoal made from obame oak, known for its exceptional purity with a carbon content of 98.8%. This process contributes to its clean and crisp profile, with faintly sweet and floral aromas reminiscent of ginjo sake, and a palate featuring hints of green apple, citrus peel, white flowers, and Twizzlers, leading to a dry finish. The vodka is bottled at 43% ABV.
