Osuzu Gin is a Japanese craft gin distilled in Miyazaki at the Osuzuyama Distillery. It’s made from a base of sweet potato shōchū and infused with locally grown botanicals such as yuzu, sanshō pepper, ginger, shiitake mushrooms, sakaki wood, and kinkan citrus. All ingredients—except juniper—are estate-grown without pesticides.
The flavor profile is bright and citrusy on the nose, with a rich, umami-driven palate and a spicy, herbal finish. Unique and terroir-driven, it reflects both Japanese tradition and local flora.
