The saperavi grape, considered a new friend in international regions such as Finger Lakes, is by far the most dominant red grape in terms of overall production in the Republic of Georgia! This wine is made with the ones from the high altitude of Kakheti (this varietal’s original place!), which brings more elegance and black fruit undertones. With holiday-ready flavors of cassis, black cherry and plum, this is a perfect pairing for a cranberry sauced poultry, lamb or any sour cream sauced dish.
