In the local dialect of the region surrounding Veneto, “Scaia” means a chip of chalky stone. The soil around this area is rife with limestone soil that is perfect for growing youthful and light bodied wines. Aromas of red roses, cherries, red plum and red currant unfold into a pleasantly light body that is well balanced and fresh. Aged in stainless steel vats, this wine is perfect with a slight chill and paired with shrimp cocktail or a salami and cheese board!
