Vieux Chateau Saint Andre Montagne Saint-Emilion

If you are a fan of the ever popular, storied (and rightfully pricy!) Château Pétrus, then this is the wine for you! Vieux Chateau Saint André is the home vineyard of the current winemaker of Pétrus, Jean Francois. This maestro of vines definitely knows what he’s doing in the vineyard! The palate is plentiful with dark cherries and plum notes; balanced with savory earth, a touch of new oak, and tobacco. It’s a great wine with a dry finish. Have it with prime rib of beef, roast rabbit or rack of lamb.
