The Schlossmühlenhof property is a large estate spread across the slopes just south of Alzey. Originally a rye and wheat mill, the estate switched to vineyards in the 1920s and never looked back. The farm follows what they call “ecologically healthy” farming practices, with the intent of capturing the pure expression of the Rheinhessen style. Their Müller-Thurgau is unfiltered and spends five months resting on its lees. Aromas of zesty citrus and florals accompany a lush body. Ideal with seafood!
