Paleontologists are familiar with Jura due to its importance to our understanding of the past (it’s the namesake for the Jurassic era!) But for us it’s more about the wine! With a climate very similar to southern Alsace and the Côte d'Or in Burgundy, Jura is a perfect cool climate region for red varietals with bright acidity and fresh, crunchy fruit. This blend of pinot noir and poulsard is fermented full cluster, which gives it a brambly body of red and black berries. It is aged in stainless steel to retain all of its fruity goodness and is a perfect pairing with pâté, roast chicken, or duck!
