Domaine Vigneau-Chevreau Vouvray Cuvee Silex Sec ORGANIC/BIODYNAMIC

Vouvray can be wonderfully perplexing—in the best way.  While it’s one of the most famous communes in the Loire, it can come in so many different styles… bubbly, dry, sweet— you name it!  This bottling is “Sec,” which means completely dry.  Delicious with notes of apple and honey, the palate is flavorful and luxurious with elegant notes of honeysuckle and lemon.  Great with lighter fare like salads and vegetables, it also pairs wonderfully with white fish and soufflé.  Come out of that cave and try some Vouvray!
