In the north-central region of Portugal, the Dão DOC, part of the historic Beiras Wine Region, is one of the country’s oldest and most revered wine-producing areas, dating back to Roman times. Grapes are grown in very granitic soil, the best in the foothills of the Serra da Estrela mountains. The Quinta do Correio Tinto boasts a beautiful palate with red fruit and earth, as well as aromas that draw you in. This is a wine that pairs beautifully with food (charcuterie and hard cheeses!) or purely on its own.
