Sigillo del Curato Vino Rosso

Founded by Orlando Rocchi in the late 1960s, the Rocchi winery has been producing wine in the southern part of the Marche, not far from the border of Abruzzo. His son Paris and daughter Sabrina now run the operation, which expanded in 1999. This red blend is made from Cabernet Franc and the rare local variety Vernaccia Nera, which gives the wine an ethereal and spicy aroma. The palate is complex and persistent, with hints of toasted wood. It pairs quite well with roasted meats and rich, well-structured dishes.
