Cascina Amalia was established in 2003 when the Boffa family, seduced by the gentile tranquility of the area, purchases an early 20th century farmhouse along with surrounding vineyards. Their mission is to create high quality wines with respect for terroir and tradition. Their dolcetto is complex with aromas of cherry and blueberry along with a hint of pepper. With 8 months aging in stainless steel, the palate is fresh and rounded with brilliant acidity. This is a food wine that pairs well with sausages or red sauce pastas!
