Ballade de la Pointe Pomerol

Pomerol is considered by many to be the “figurehead” of Right Bank Bordeaux, known for its Merlot-dominant reds. While oftentimes more rustic than its neighbors across the river on the Left, the Ballade de la Pointe (a 2nd Label from La Pointe) is a wine that offers polish and finesse—while staying true to its roots.  Potent on the nose with blueberries and black cherry, it offers a strong and refined palate, as well as a long-lasting finish. This Bordeaux is dense, rich, and definitely age-worthy! Enjoy it with braised, roasted, or grilled meats, or anything with truffles!
