After spending nearly 20 years in New Zealand crafting wines, winemaker Philip Jones sought to fill a void in the kosher market in the Pacific Northwest. The area is perfect for growing cooler climate grapes, including some that are not quite adaptive to New Zealand. This riesling is a very unique type because, despite being medium dry, it almost tastes like a dry one due to the beautifully balanced acidity that counters the fruit. With aromas of elderflower, lemon and notes of green apple, apricot, this is a perfect match to saffron- and orange-sauced trout or any hearty fish!
