The small commune of Givry, located in the Côte Chalonnaise sub-region of Burgundy, is primarily known for its beautiful and elegant Pinot Noir. Wines harvested from the premier cru vineyards are regarded as having the best terroir of the area, and these produce the most highly regarded wines! Here we have a wonderful Pinot from Seguin-Manuel. Aged for 10 months in oak (10% new), the wine shows aromas of red fruit, blackberry, and cassis. The tannins are supple and velvety, along with well-balanced acidity. Enjoy this red with roast poultry or a mature cheese!
